We absolutely loved our stay at Woodland Cottage - Cosy Dog Friendly Cottage In The Heart Of Windermere. The location was perfect, situated between two towns and offering easy access to both. The cottage itself felt like a home away from home, with a cozy lounge and plenty of natural light. The bedrooms were spacious and had storage for our bags. The shower had good pressure and warmed up quickly. We appreciated the flexibility of having a kitchen and dining area, which allowed us to enjoy meals in as well as explore local eateries.

Woodland Cottage - a cosy, well-renovated cottage that offered everything we needed for a short stay. It was clean and had all the amenities we required. The location was excellent, just a short walk into the village of Windermere. We especially loved the sun trap yard at the back of the cottage. Our dog had a fantastic holiday here too!

Although described as dog-friendly, the cottage had strict rules regarding dogs. Our dog was not allowed upstairs or on the furniture, which was a disappointment.

The location of Woodland Cottage was absolutely perfect for our stay. We were able to easily walk into town, explore Lake Windermere, and visit Bowness. The property itself was fully equipped with everything we needed and was tastefully decorated. It was also spotless when we arrived, making us feel right at home.

While the double bed in the cottage had a soft mattress, which may be a personal preference for some, we would have preferred it to be a bit firmer. Additionally, there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of a BBQ and some missing kitchen utensils.
